Fair use policy

To ensure the enjoyment and availability of our services to all our customers, we have establised this fair use policy. We wish our service offering to generous to all, though we do not want that generosity abused.

A fair go

If we consider that a customer is abusing our services, we may contact them to discuss their usage requirements. However if the usage peak is not expected to continue, we'll probably let it all slide. However if the excessive usage continues, we will negotiate with the customer a fair pricing plan to suit their needs.

Excessive use

Excessive use is simply an unreasonably disproportionate use of the service when compared to our other users. In the case of SMS messaging, excess of THREE times the number of messages per month, averaged across our general customers, would be considered excessive use. As for database storage, large storage of media not normally associated with business (such as music and movies) is considered excessive use. Additionally a volume of records not normally typical of a customer's industry is considered excessive use.

Unreasonable use

Our services are designed for small to medium businesses to help them in their typical day to day needs. We believe that it would be unreasonable for our system to be used by businesses whose activities would normally include heavy messaging traffic, such as a telemarketing business or call centre. Also it would be unreasonable for a customer to be re-supplying or reselling our service to others without our consent. Unreasonable use also includes any illegal business activity, defamatory conduct, misleading services, unsolicited messaging/spam, or dubious schemes.

Where we consider your use to be unreasonable, or that your use does not comply with the terms and conditions of our service, then we may suspend your access immediately, without notice to you.
